Newbie Question - Mount Problem

Hiya All, Recently joined your forum, being a member of several bike forums.

I have a TomTom Go910 which is about 4 years old. It has done very good service and has taken me deep into Europe on many occasions.
The problem I now have is that the mount is not connection 'snugly' with the tomtom, so it is charging intermitently. i have changed tha battery anyway because it was not working well out of the car (I have used it for longer distance bike rides to get home directly).
Can anyone help with this please. I can see there are small connectors on the tomtom itself and I think that these are the problem, however someone may have a better understanding.
