LOL... Yes, vigideme - it's mostly likely that the battery is dead! Most recharbeable devices won't last a year without slowly draining out the battery. Didn't your brother give you the charging cables for your TomTom Go 910? According to "What's in the box," there should have been both a vehicle charger and a home AC charger. If you need to purchase them, you can find them on the TomTom Accessories page (or search for a third party option). If you already have a charging source, and the battery won't keep a charge - then the battery has failed and needs to be replaced. Does it run when a charging cord is plugged in? If you're handy, and don't mind disassembling your 910, you can do it yourself (with care). Otherwise you'll have to send it back to TomTom and pay what they demand for the service. Search the forums for help on TomTom 910 battery replacment. |

Hi HumVee, thanks for your support, I have all the accesories. I tried to put it ON connected on car or home stations and it did not run, it does sometimes but turn OFF again after 2 sec., It should be the battery?, why the battery has 3 cables (Black, Red and Yellow) Red and Black should be 3.7 (I mesured les than 3 V) but the yellow what is for?, I would like to test it with a adjustable power supply but the yellow cable make me doubt. Thanks.

| Re: I can't start my Tom Tom Go 910 vigideme, the battery may be completely shot. What you experienced appears to be a common symptom with TomTom's when the battery utterly dies. In answer to your question, the yellow wire appears to be a sensor wire...likely used to tell the system to stop charging the Lithium-Ion battery (bad things happen when this kind of battery gets over charged). You can read up in this forum discussion to find out how to replace your battery:I hope that helps. Good luck! |

the Tom Tom website does not offer the battery. Can anyone give me a website (in the US) that I can order one? They also don't offer a replacement car mount. Does anyone have a US website that offers that? For as expensive as the 910 was, I sure am not getting my money's worth. Haven't used it much, but the battery is dead

| Re: I can't start my Tom Tom Go 910 skraus1, you should be able to Google it. I found this one for you on eTechTronics.com for $29. I haven't ordered from them, so I can't speak to their quality of product or service. If you need instructions on how to take apart your 910 in order to replace the battery, read Swixit's discussion thread. The PDF document I attached seemed to be sufficient for the task....
