TomTom XLS GPS

I just bought a new TomTom XLS gps. The unit is fine except for one important issue; after I zoom out and wait a few seconds the map automatically zooms back in by itself! How can I prevent this from happening? I called the TomTom company and the gal told me there was no fix to this phenomenon. I find that hard to believe after all the various GPS units I have owned. HELP!

Re: TomTom XLS GPS

I have read elsewhere that only on the 720 and 920 can the Zoom feature be
canceled.

Re: TomTom XLS GPS

Thanks, much appreciated. Actually, I returned the TomTom GPS and purchased a Garmin Nuvi 650. No more TomTom's for me!
