Why are some threads moderated?

Hello, site admins! This is not a complaint...I'm just trying to understand the rules or conditions in which posted responses need moderator approval before they are shown. It's only happened a couple of times, and I've never gone back to the thread see if my post ever shows up - but I'm curious as to what criteria you use to decide if a thread response should require moderator approval. If anything, I'd think you'd require moderator approval when starting a new thread, not replying to one!

Re: Why are some threads moderated?

It's a built in feature of VB. As far as I know (I could easily be wrong here), it's done automatically. I don't know what the guidelines VB uses for determine. It's flagged messages that were not spam before.
