Still Considering

I am tossing up between a Navigon 2100 and the 2100 max. Are there any issues/fixes that you have come up?

Re: Still Considering

I have had experience with a few other GPS brands in a couple of countries. I have read good and bad reviews on the Navigon 2100/2100 Max. I have fiddled with a few of the GPS on display in stores and like the look and feel of the 2100 but I would like to get opinions and possible bugs/issues/resolutions that users have come up with.

I'd post more, but most of my thoughts are already in the section this is posted in, so I'll refrain

Re: Still Considering

I have discovered that most people annoyed with the Navigon did NOT read the manual. Most of the complaints are caused by the user themselves not understanding how to work this great unit. I love mine. I read through my owners manual since this is my first unit. The most variable I have found is the routing. But that is due to what the settings are. I took a different route than was specified in my home town to work and it adjusted (recalculated) beautifully. I just bought this in Feb. and haven't used it on a long trip yet, but we go to Ft. Lauderdale Florida in October and I'll get to use the POI's and traffic. No traffic in Youngstown/Warren area. Looking forward to it.
