| no power detection
it is disappointing that the Navigon 5100 does not detect when power is removed from its power port, i.e. when powered via car power adapter, and the car is turned off, the Navigon stays on. Most GPS devices will display a dialog box asking the user if they'd like to continue on battery power, else they automatically turn off. Also, most units will automatically turn back on when power is returned.... This is a bummer.

Does the unit have a soft shutdown state? I know the Garmins have a soft off and an off. The real off prevents them from starting whereas the soft off lets them sit there and come on/off with power applied.
