nuvi phone

I'm intuiged by the nuviphone that is due to debut in Feb.

I don't know where I got the idea but I've been working with the idea that cell phone GPS worked by somehow triangulating one position between the cell phone antennas where as convencional GPS units worked off satilites out in space.

So is this new garmin GPS phone going to opperate like a conventional cell phone GPS or will it get is data from satilites out in space?

They aren't giving much away in terms of concrete specs, it looks like.

I want to see it, but I'm not a heavy cell phone user, and it probably requires a data plan. So I won't be getting one right away. But it looks good for their first phone.

I was thinking of getting a phone with GPS. Can anybody suggest if this unit is a good buy??? I am not familiar with GPS phones as I am only using a Nokia N Series. I don't have any idea if there are Nokia phones with GPS features. Thanks

The Nokia N95 supports GPS. I'm not sure about any of the others.
