I tried my Nuvi 255W the other day for directions from my home to a golf course which I already knew how to get to. The directions were exactly the route I normally use, however when I was leaving the course & selected "go home" it was taking me on a completely different route. I contacted Garmin as to why I did not get the exact reverse directions & they indicated that the GPS takes into consideration the time of day & where traffic would be the heaviest. Can anyone tell if this sounds correct? My unit does not have an active traffic receiver.
