Re: Trimble and Leica Forum ?

Those can be discussed in "General GPS Discussion". There is not currently enough discussion around those models to warrant their own forum.

Thanks

I'm still confused with convert ssf to rinex and rinex to ssf file, it's to many parameter.

Can we use a leica receiver (like gps1200 and gps1200 rtk) to be a base and trimble receiver to be rover ? And how to processing both of raw data ? What software to procesing it ?

Sorry, I have so many question about this and need advice but leica local dealer just answering about leica and trimble local dealer do nothing.

Thanks.

Re: Trimble and Leica Forum ?

ok. the ssf file is very difficult to convert to rinex unless it is from a survey grade trimble ( 4000ssi, 5800 r5/8). if you are using a mapping type like the pro xr or geo xt(h), the ssf contains all of the metadata from the data dictionary. a typical rinex conversion will not handle either the map data or the the mixed collection types (i.e points, lines and polygons) you can post process in pathfinder using the native ssf and a rinex from a reference station.

pm me and i can give you my # if you need some detailed info.

You can use a leica unit as a base and a trimble unit as a reciever or vise versa you just need to change the data format that the reciever is looking for and the base is broadcasting cmr+ is an interchangeable data format between lieca and trimble
