| Sportrak map will not find location
My sportrak only shows the hourglass when powered up. I have placed it in an open area and clear sky. I appears to be seeing the satelites but never locks into the location. It has tried breifly but the arrow just flashes. Is there a way to correct this?

I have a SporTrak Pro and there is a way to "hard reset" it with a funky combination of keystrokes. I don't remember the sequence off hand so try doing a search for that model. Can't hurt to reset it if you don't mind losing anything you might have saved/stored on it... Also, Maggie Magellan, a Magellan factory rep, hangs around on this board. She's helped quite a few members with technical questions. Try looking her up. |
