| difference between 2d and 3d map view is eluding me
i have only had my 1445t for a couple days can't tell the diff, can anybody help, and hello to all!

On my Magellan Roadmate 1700, they have it backwards. When it's in 2D, it say 3D, and when it's in 3D, it says 2D. Magllan should confer with Garmin as to how to get their software to work right.

When you are in 3D the 2D icon shows up so all you have to do is touch the 2D to enter 2D mode. It doesn't mean you are in 2D mode it is a means to change to that mode. |
