Has anyone else had a fix for the current location of the magellan maestro 4370 being wrong. I have down loaded the latest updates and I still come
up I'm 270 feet off from my location.
Kept sending units back magellan sent me refurbished units 3 in all tried.
They all give the wrong location.
Could it be the maps for this location? Haven't tried it outside of Glendale,AZ?
Any ideas?

Are yousaying that a street address is wrong? Street numbers are interploated from start/end of street and therefore are not always spot on where a building or driveway are at. I've had three brands that are not the same for my work address.

The magellan 4370 will take me right to the correct address
if I press home, or route a trip. It is only when I try an use the
current location function that it shows the wrong address, and
local POI's are not close when using this function.
Think maybe Magellan has a glitch in the software. Other than
that function my 4370 works great. Yes I've tried to SET GPS POSITION
doesn't change anything

Not sure if I am following you but my 4370 seems to be pretty accurate. Maybe I can play with the current location function and see if I can see what you are talking about.

The magellan 4370 is really good on finding a location when routing to an address,it is accurate, that way.
It is if I try to use the current location that it is off. Mine shows me over in the next cul-de-sac. Maybe it is just this area? How close it yours?

I guess I still am not clear on what you are talking about when you refer to "current location". When I hit the current location on my 4370 it just gives me the LAT/LONG information and the nearest streets in front of me and behind me, so it doesn't SHOW me where I am per-say. But, when I do hit the current location it does seem to be accurate. I tried it a couple times on the way home yesterday and when I hit it the location that it gave me was correct, ie., at a certain intersection.

Quess it is just this location tried current location else where and it was close,gave what your's gave you.
For about 1/4 mile around where I live, every thing is off. I live at 11419 and it says I'm at 11463. the streets are also the wrong ones.
Somebody else in this location has the same thing.
My 4040 doesn't have current location but the sos or service is correct on that.
On the 4370 my sos location is wrong and so is the service location
