Magellan 500 LE

Afternoon,
I just bought a new Magellan 500 LE Explorist,the install went on okay but the map is locked and even after going to the Magellan web site and registering the product still no luck. Either unlock option does not work, the one for credit cards or the other one.Is Magellan still supporting ie unlocking these maps or are we out of luck? Also the laptop with Vista does not see the gps when using Magellan Mapsend Conversion.
Starting to miss the old Etrex already! Thanks People, Mike

I called the 800 number for help when unlocking the map code. This was 3 years ago.

Thanks man,was starting to think the site had died ! Guess I will try to phone them was hoping it was something else as I read Magellan is not very helpful. Thanks again Mike
