Newbie needs help with Roadmate 1440

How can I change the default view (top) to the view that is in the manual which is over-the-shoulder?

Press anywhere on the map. On the lower left of the screen you should see a button that says 3d. Click on that and then click on the green check mark. You should be all set.

Have you noticed the hardware (?) software(?) update.....can switch from ABC to QWERTY and back...and some other stuff.
