Magellan maestro 4250

Hello,i joined because i have a question about Magellan maestro 4250; I would like to know if it works in Brasil. Thanks...

Are you asking if it will give you a position in Brasil or if it has maps of that area? GPS signals get just about every where these days. Short of a military jamming GPS signals, there isn't much that keeps a device from working.

Yes it works but there are no road maps for Brasil, so it would be useless.

I sounds like it might just be useless. Many handheld GPS devices support navigating without map data. I don't have the 4250 but from their website it sounds like it would only work where it had map data.
