Magellan 210 problem

Hi I'm new to this forum and looking for help. I went to the Magellan site and paid for and downloaded the topographical maps for eastern Canada. When I went to connect the GPS to the computer the GPS wasn't recognized.
I called the Magellan help line and was told that the download wasn't compatable to Vista and that they were working on the problem.
Their answer to the problem was to find someone with XL and use their computer and that was it!
My point was that nowhere on their web site did it say that the download was for XL only and not for Vist and all I got was sorry.
So now I'm out the money and ticked off! Can anyone help, Scouse

If they're website doesn't mention the system requirements, I would think they would owe you a refund.

Either that or pick up a cheap laptop or desktop PC with an older version of Windows. Barebones ones are very cheap.
