I have an explorist 610, and while it's simple to start a new track, how does one end the track?

The user manual for this device is just terrible. The device itself seems pretty good but if I can't figure out how to carry out basic ops, back it will go.

you can end a track by either
1) tapping the map screen, selecting lower left button, tapping on tracks, tap the active track. tap on options in lower right, then select delete.

2) from the map screen you can tap once, then tap lower right button options, select start new track. you will be asked to clear active track and start new track, select yes.

3) on your main menu screen on the top row, you will notice the hiker icon, if he is carrying a floppy disc icon, then you have the option to save the active track. If the hiker icon is empty handed, then you will hve the clear active track selection.

I hope this is helpful and saves you some time. It took me a lot of time figuring this out too!

Thanks soleful2001. That is more or less what I figured out myself. I find it a bit awkward but it does work. Crazy how lame the manual is for this device.
