Hello from the Sunny South

For years, I have attempted to use a Garmin ETrex Legend as a navagation device mounted on the dash of my Jeep. Oddly enough, as I have aged, so have my eyes; the screen on the Legend (which, I still love) has gotten smaller and dimmer. So I have upgraded to a Garmin Nuvi 880 - Boy, was I in for a suprise! This is the best thing since pockets on shirts...sliced bread...and all of those other colloquialisms we love so much. The other night, my wife and went to see STYX perform in Montgomery, Alabama (I have been to Montgomery a billion times, so I pretty well know where it is). Since we were traveling at night and some of the familiar landmarks had changed, we used to Nuvi 880 and it was spot-on in getting us to the concert on time (It indicated our arrival time to be 7:15PM.....and we were there at 7:15PM). I even joke and say "Thank you Jill" when a turn is announced (where is she anyway?).
