Hi all, love my GPS unit. Have had it since Feb. Hope to give it a good workout during trip to SE Florida in October. It's already helped me around town. I used to be the navigator on road trips, but that job now belongs to Navigon.

I have found some cool fixes for speed and routing on another forum in case anyone is interested in tweaking their Navigon. Go to the All-in-One section and read Navigon Tweaks.

Thank you. Hope you like GPS Passion. I think it is located in France, but there is an English version. Lots of great minds have written some great ideas for helping all GPS users. Too bad some of these sites have rival employees writing negative comments on them. The honest ones can be found easily though, just by reading them. Once you've used a product, you can tell.

My daughter has a Garmin and loves it. My son also has a GPS, but its old and think company was bought out. It doesn't route that well, (he's never updated new maps) but did a good job on our trip to Florida last year. That is also the reason I bought the Navigon after using his. Knew what I wanted on mine. Haven't tried the traffic part of it yet, (not available in my living area.) But will be in Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale and I can't wait. We've gotten stuck around Charlotte too many times due to traffic problems. Hope this gets us through easily this year. Will report back after we return.
