Greetings fellow adventurers. I'm from Baton Rouge, LA, love to travel
via motorcycle in the southeast US. Just bought the Nuvi and find it to be a great tool. Would like any more info on how to create POI files and then keep them on my gps.

I"ve heard the file type is CSV, but doesn't Excel allow you to create CSV files?

Any help appreciated.

Yes, you can do it in Excel, but there are better (read: easier) alternatives.
