I have been using it with the metro maps to find addresses, and for this type unit is is working rather well. Not quite like a nuvi, but it will get me there. I use the follow road option, and it has done well.

Congratulations! Try geocaching, if you have the inclination. My kids and I did it while hiking at Silver Falls State Park in Oregon, and they liked it so much we've done it around town immediately after returning from the trip!

I have beed doing that from a time before they even had GPS's. Back then we did it with topo maps, and just notes with how many steps it was to the next rock or stump etc, then turn to dirrection how many degrees, and more. Yes it is fun, and much easier now with GPS's ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
