Zumo Software on other GPS

I was wondering if anyone has heard of getting the Zumo software onto another Model GPS. I like the large buttons the software has for people with gloves on and the ability to track your travels and upload predetermined routes. I was wondering if anyone had heard of a way to get some of these features onto another GPS model via firmware or software mod. I know there are less ruggedized models that share similar features but not all of them. I was thinking that maybe it was only software differences.

If you buy the Garmin SDK (Software Development Kit) you can probably do that.

But none of us is rich enough to afford the SDK, so I don't really know.
