| Problem copying GPS info from the SD card to the hard-drive.
So, I have a Nextar M3, and I managed to get the mp3 player function to work using a MicroSD card inside a SD adapter. But when I tried to copy the maps and voices to my C: drive or even directly to my MicroSD, I get an error and it won't let me copy one of the files. Which is weird because it will copy everything but this one file. |

Content Protection for Recordable Media - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Just speculating, maybe your card reader isn't 'allowed' to read portions of that file. Have does the Nextar offer the ability to act as a card reader itself? (mass storage mode?). In any case if it is designed to stop you reading that file there is a reason for it. Ask the manufacturer. |

No mass storage mode. Oh well, I'll just use it as an mp3 player when in town, ands put the original card back in when going out of town. | |
