Problem copying GPS info from the SD card to the hard-drive.

So, I have a Nextar M3, and I managed to get the mp3 player function to work using a MicroSD card inside a SD adapter. But when I tried to copy the maps and voices to my C: drive or even directly to my MicroSD, I get an error and it won't let me copy one of the files. Which is weird because it will copy everything but this one file.

Just speculating, maybe your card reader isn't 'allowed' to read portions of that file. Have does the Nextar offer the ability to act as a card reader itself? (mass storage mode?). In any case if it is designed to stop you reading that file there is a reason for it. Ask the manufacturer.

No mass storage mode. Oh well, I'll just use it as an mp3 player when in town, ands put the original card back in when going out of town.
