Garmin vista CX for performance cars?

Hello people, I own Garmin Etrex Vista CX, and I want to know is it possbile to use it to measure 0-400 m. times, o-100 km/h times and so on. There is software called GPSperformance for Pocket PC-s with Windows Mobile and GPS receiver and works fine, but I want to know can I make the Garmin act the same way somehow?
