GPS/Elevation

Know nothing about GPS units and local stores have not been a help. Do any or all units show latitude and longitude? Also are there any that show elevation above sea level or is that a completely different world? Thanks

Most any GPS should track your elevation. Sometimes it's hidden on some other screen, usually on the satellite status screen or such. Some configurable units will let you display that on the "main" screen though.

Also, elevation is not as accurate as horizontal measurement. So some units have a barometer built in to give better altitude readings.

Keith is right, on my nüvi 750 the altitude is on the Satellite screen. Varies up to +/- 100 feet depending on who-knows-what.
