My 60CSx keeps adding mileage to the odometer when its not moving

I have a questions about my new 60CSx. Lets say I go for a hike, the distance is 1.2 miles. Then I stop and rest for 25 minutes, but my 60Csx thinks I'm still moving, I can clearly see this on the display, and before I know it, my 60CSx has now gone another 0.5 miles, and I haven't moved 5 feet.
Is there a setting that I need to have enabled so this doesn't happen?

You could try enabling WAAS/EGNOS if you haven't already...?

This type of problem has been magnified with the high sensitive chipsets in the the devices today. With my older 12 Map, when you were stopped, it was stopped. It seems with the better chipsets that track your position more precisely, they think you're moving around slightly as you're not. All without the 3 meter or so accuracy.
