If you go to Honda Owner Link and use their link for the DVD Update, it sends you here: https://store.alpine-usa.com/Hondadv.../naviorder.php My wife has a Civic with the Honda nav.

thanks guys. there doesn't seem to be any major updates so i can wait for now. at least i can give the mrs's a little piece of mind. (by extension me). has anyone tried to get an oem nav package from a salvage yard and install it in something else?

I never have tried the OEM method, mostly because in many cases the systems use dead reckoning and tie into other vehicle sensors through the micu/ecu. So while it might be easy to remove the system and toss it in - you run into complications getting it to do everything it should (properly). I have a Ridgeline and the OEM navi in this is more than I'd care to dink with. Unless of course I found it for about 200$ or so

It does pretty well. Not as good as the stand-alone's thoiugh. We didn't get it on purpose, it just happened to be in the one on the lot that she liked.

my wife likes the one she has in the pilot. it seems easy enough to use.
