Cast your vote! If you own multiple brands, mark all that apply.

Besides my many Garmin IIIs and Vs, I also own a verrrrry old Scoutmaster, a Lexus LS430, and a BV Systems PCS drive test receiver.

PS: I've attached a PDF with the specs of the Trimble Scoutmaster. It cost nearly $1000 when I bought it a decade ago. I've also set my avatar to show me using my Scoutmaster like a cell phone. "Can you find me now?"

I was thinking of the Lexus myself, but it didn't come with a belt clip option so I went with the 60csx

Yes, the lack of a belt clip might well be a problem! j

Wow, I just got a black and decker Arize myself, but the 920 looks to be a nice machine:

Other... Navigon 2100, but I had a Jensen NVX200 for 5 days and a Garmin Nuvi200 for four days, and I still have my GPS-V.

EDIT: I bought a MIO C230 just to test after I got frustrated with the 2100s wierd routing, but I'm not sure the MIO is any better.

Also, It seems that MIO c230 uses a newer version of the same program as the Jensen, but the maps are still old compared to the other units.

It does identify one street correctly where the 2100 has the wrong street name! The MIO voice is a bit millitant, the 2100 says 'please'

Yeah, I guess so. BTW, my family is getting frustrated with my GPS returning...

I don't blame them.
I bought a Jensen NVX200 on Dec 20th and a Garmin Nuvi200 on the 22nd, to compare them; then I took them both back on the 26th and bought the Navigon 2100. Then Tuesday; I bought a MIO C230 to compare them, and I'm taking one of them back on Saturday. I am leaning heavily toward the Navigon going back... [and I have my eye on a TomTom 1 -3rd ed! too, so....]

Maybe I'll just get one of each... j/k!

I reset the poll and added some additional brands. If you don't see your brand listed, let us know and we'll add it BEFORE you place your vote.

Thanks

Hello DigupCoins, I just bought a Magellen 4040. So far so good. I am not sure which SD card to purchase. I have heard that some brands of SD cards are not compatable with the unit. Any advise as to brand and capacity?

I too am a treasure hunter, I use the Whites Spectrum XLT.

well... shoot! I took the Navigon back, then I took the MIO back, and now I'm stuck with my GPSV agian.
I am looking at Intellinav 3! it seems to have all the things I need, esp Navteq maps and customizable displays in-route.

Ok ok guilty, I forgot Keith refreshed the voting since Egadgetguy had to buy one of every kind

I'm back in there - but it only let me put in 1 checkmark for Garmin, not 4

I have three PDA GPS units:
Ipaq rx5915 (2G internal memory 4G SD card) ,
Mio P550 (2G internal memory 4G SD card)
Mio 168 (64M internal memory 2G SD card)

I am currently testing:

Garmin Mobile XT USA
TomTom 6 USA (comes standard with IPAQ) but cannot get updates
Navigon 6.5 USA
IGO 2006SE USA
MIO V3 USA (With P550) Pretty much the same as IGO

TomTom is still the smoothest and quickest, Navigon has strange routes, Mio is good and Garmin is the least accurate and most jerky when tracking position.
