| QWERTY keyboard
What's with garmin only putting a QWERTY keyboard on their higher end models? We all use QWERTY to type on our computers, PDA's and smartphones. Then if we purchase a lower end model, they only include an ABC keyboard. It's very awkward trying to type with this keyboard. I sure hope they can change this with future releases of software. |

First thing you could try is emailing that request to Garmin. Something like that could be done in a software update.

Tools/Settings/System/Keyboard Layout If they don't offer that choice on all models (or at least all nuvi models), they probably could and are choosing not to. | |

I sent them an email, but they were saying that they are not even considering including this update in the older models and "..Thanks for your suggestion.."..oh well.,.

Garmin doesn't seem to be updating their discontinued Nuvis like that have done with other models in the past. Maybe because that is a feature some of the newer Nuvis.
