| Venture HC Area Map?
I just got my brand new Venture HC and like it plenty. I have been searching for a way to get a more detailed map for just my little town for days now. I can't see paying $100 just to get a road map of my town. What are the other options? I have Adobe Ill, and a ton of other drawing programs. I know Garmin has to have a vector format. Knowing this can I take a hand drawn map of my town and convert it to an .img file and then transfer it to my GPSr? Or is there a website anyone knows of that has some detailed road maps of non-important cities and town? Any help would be great. Also Please do not clutter then thread with "Don't be cheap buy from Garmin" or whatever posts. It does me no good, and just uses up the bandwidth of the forum. Thanks guys and girls. |
