zumo 550 bluetooth poor sound quality

I have a zumo 550 and when paired to my scala rider headset the sound quality is unbearable. It works well when recieving phone calls but when getting directons or listing to music it sucks so bad i cant use it. Any suggestions. Also do they make a mic what actually works for a motorcycle that plugs right into the garmin. Thanks Les

Can't think of a mic that would plug in directly to the Garmin but the microphone in a Collect Communicator work quite well. I've used their older models with the voice tube which do a great job cutting wind noise. They have a model specifically for the Zumo 550.
