Hi,

I have a Garmin 60Cx that I use for ATVing and other outdoor recreation. We have a local off-road park with lots of interconnecting trails, etc that are not shown on my Topo Map (IBYCUS v2.1)

What I'd like to do is to use my tracks data to somehow add these trails into the map data, or something similar. I'd eventually like to have all of the trails shown in my GPS.

Was hoping someone could reccomend a way to achieve this?

You can manually turn Tracks into Routes in MapSource, using the Route Tool and clicking along your track. There's no automated way to do it in MapSource. I've been told that there are 3rd party applications that can automate this, but I haven't tried any of them. Your header says "Tracks to Roads." There's no way that I know of to modify your Garmin map by adding new roads to the existing maps. However, many enthusiasts create their own custom maps that will work on your Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx (or other Garmin GPS). Check out sites like GPS File Depot.

Maybe I don't understand routes completely. I thought routes wasn't something you used on a TOPO map unless the MAP already had a road to follow. Wasn't useful for mapping roads not shown on the map kinda deal..
