I am new user and need some help. I have extrex Legend and need to find the ending point on a straight line property line that ends (corner) on a river after running thru a swamp. I have established 3 waypoints at the other end of that line approximately 300 ft apart that are on the line (property line markers). I need to line up these three points on a "go to" command from the river and by getting the same readings, then I would be on the line and could post the property line with signs. Question: Can I get azimuth reading on a "go to" command rather than just a direction line? How do I do it? Thanks for an answer.

I don't think the Etrex does projections. But you may be able to use the compass page to do this.

Start at waypoint #1, set #3 as the destination. Walk to 3, passing 2. Take note of the bearing indicator and see what compass heading it's telling you to follow. Once you get to waypoint 3, follow that same heading until you get to the river. That should give you a good estimate.
