755 Nuvi How do I chose the Route

I would like to tell my gps what route I want to take instead of letting it decide the best way. I would like to take Rt 45 in Kentucky to Mobile Al. My gps keeps sending me to Nashville down I65 Is there some way I can tell it which way I want to go?

Thanks

Re: 755 Nuvi How do I chose the Route

Typically the easiest way is to go into my data- routes - and then add sections to the route that are roads or intersections you want to go on.

Most gps's just want to get you somewhere the fastest way they know how which might not always be the way you prefer

Welcome to the site btw
