How can I show map in microSD card?

Hi, everyone, i'm a freshman user of GPS.

My GPS is Garmin Etrex Hcx, and I download a map for Singapore from internet and send it into GPS' SD card through software Mapresource. Then I turn on GPS, select setup-map-information, and try to make the new map shown in GPS. But the GPS doesn't activate the map which I sent into it.

Anyone can help me? Thank you very much!

There is a rectangular frame under map setup->information section, but there's no name of this map. This is very urgent, please give me some suggestion.

Problem solved, it is the problem of the .img which I downloaded, I download another .img for Singapore, it works!

I wish we can share our experience of Garmin GPS.
