| 'tis the season for seat time | What is the next stage of 26/27/28XX Navigation?
So I sold my 2720 last year and got my paws on a C-530, but I miss the overall tailorability of the 2720. I am seeing the 2720 for 390$ new now, and the 2730 for 499$. Im not big into the difference of the 20/30 however I am thinking I could get a 2730 and maybe sell off the GXM 30 or something. But then there is the thought of 'whats coming next' ? I like the idea of the 2820 and that would work for me, although it seemed like that was an interim model since there are few places that still have it . But the other 27xx and 29xx are starting to get severely marked down...so anyways, what do you think is the next direction for that series? Is it going to flourish or flop now? They seem to have 'specific' gps's now for the matrix that the SP 2xxx series seemed to cover, so do they still have a need to breed that model? anyone heard anything?

You gotta wonder how much more they can add to it. It's navigation. Maps don't really change other than adding new streets and such. I guess they can improve accuracy/routing/etc but only to a certain point before the military stops it.

Why would you want a map on a TV screen that changes oritentation with you when you could have the whole state on one big page |
