| Cannot update nuvi 260w! Help!
Hi, I just purchase a referbished nuvi 260w and I am trying to update the software by installing the NT 2009 City Maps but after doing all the steps a message pops up indicating the the wrong software version was detected. It goes on saying that a previous version needs to be installed. The software version that I currently have installed is 4.00. Can anyone help. Thanks.

There is a link here in this forum on how to re-apply earlier version, since 4.0 was causing many people problems. I'll try to find it. Oh, and welcome to the site.  this link shows someone else with the problem who retro-graded, but not how he did it... I'll keep looking. Last edited by dav; 09-22-2008 at 4:13 PM.
