Saving trip log on c530

I just got a c530. I would be able to save trip log/data so I could compare
what is the fastest route to common places I go. A pen and paper would
work, but can this unit save the info?

So no one saves info on the 530? use paper

Hi johnsopi. Welcome to the site!

I don't have a 530, but in looking at the specs on Garmin's site, it doesn't support routes. In other words, you can't pre-load a route you want and bring it up later. It also doesn't have a tracklog. That means it doesn't save a breadcrumb like trail of where you've been. So there is no way to save a trip log since it doesn't create a trip log.

Now if you just want to save a screen shot of a particular display, Garmin has an Ximage program that should be able to do that.

A screen shot might work. I did not no what it was but I'll reread the manaul.

I can do the srceen shot, but it has no information on it. All the box are empty. I'm
not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I'm not sure if it works with the 530, but it's worth a shot.
