Garmin Nuvi 250 - Trace Movements

Hey, I have a Garmin Nuvi 250. I am wondering if this GPS is capable to trace/track your movements, and save it? I want to know if this GPS is capable of doing this as I use it alot off-road, and if I were ever to get lost, I can follow the route I used to get out?

Thanks.

Re: Garmin Nuvi 250 - Trace Movements

It is keeping a log of where you have been. With a computer you can see it.

There is supposed to be a "reverse route" option. At least many of us are under the impression there is supposed to be.

No one has admitted knowing how to do it with a nüvi yet, though.

Let us know when you figure it out!

Re: Garmin Nuvi 250 - Trace Movements

I am aware I can see it on a computer...which is nice to have, but would be even nicer to see it on the GPS.

So, many believe there is supposed to be one, but don't know how to access it? I checked the manual, and there is nothing about it in there? I'm going on a trip tomorrow, so I would love how to figure this thing out.

Thanks,
Cory

Re: Garmin Nuvi 250 - Trace Movements

What the manual says is that when you turn a nüvi off it remembers where it was. So you can find your way back to that spot.

Many of us wanted it to return via the route we took, and perhaps we read into the manual more than was there.
