HOW CAN I UNLOCK GARMIN MAP ???

I bought a Garmin nuvi last mounth in Illinois.It works great.
Sometimes I go to Europa and I want to load also Europa map in my Garmin.
I have already another Garmin , loaded Europa map of my friend.
I tried to copy all of inside Europa map to my sd card and insert it to my Garmin but it says : CAN NOT UNLOCK MAP.

Can you help me how can I load both of USA and Europa map inside my Garmin?

You need to have an unlock code from Garmin for your GPS to use the other maps on it. You'll need to contact Garmin to get an unlock code, if they offer your friend a second code on the same product. Some of their maps they give 2 unit unlocks and some only get 1 unit.

The mapset file that is created on the SD card from Mapsource is coded specifically to only work on the serial number of the device it was unlocked for.

How can I unlock my Garmin Map of Thailand which is on a Micro sd card or copy it onto my Garmin Nuvi 660

You will need an unlock code from Garmin to view your maps. You then go into your Settings to tell the GPS which set of maps you want to view.
