This thing is now giving me a headache....

We have a Nuvi 200 of our own and then bought this for my parents as a gift. We gave it to them yesterday and said that we'd help set it up for them. Turned it on and it didn't even go to the step of acquiring satellites. Hmm.. okay, oh well.

Went to do the map update and downloaded the file without problems. Ran the setup and it said that there was not enough memory for the map. We didn't encounter ANY problems when we bought ours and did all of this setup (less than one month ago). I read that to free up space you go in and delete alternate languages that won't be needed. SO....I did that. Re-ran setup and it started installing. It got to 100% setup and then told me that there was an error and couldn't install.

NOW.....it has NO detailed maps. I have tried the reset button and I have tried a hard reset where you press on the lower right when turning on the system.

NOTHING is working.

Any suggestions?

I bought this at Best Buy on 7/7. It wasn't opened until last night. Are they even going to consider an exchange? Or what do I do at this point?
