Garmin NT 2008 City Navigator for KNA-G510 Help

Hello,

I'm new here and need some help. Hopefully someone will have an answer.

I've downloaded a copy of the City Nav North America 2008 NT from a torrent but it won't unpack to my computer. When the screen to install comes up it says " setup ended prematurely because of an error. System not modified."

I've done some looking with search engines and found some comments on the subject but nothing had worked yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't use torrents, but for starters if you didn't pay for it, it's not going to work. The software is coded for your device's serial number. It only works on that one. Depending on the software, Garmin offers a second unlock code for another device, which again, only works on that device's serial number.

Yep, the answer is to buy the update like you're supposed to, and it'll work fine.
