| Using Venture HC with Streets and Trips
This probably comes up a lot but I cant find anything with the search.... I want to use my Venture HC with Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008 but it appears to not be NMEA 2.0 compliant. I bought the software just figuring it would work.... Are there any kind of converters out there or am I just doing something plain out wrong? I hope it works - I leave on a trip in one week! Thanks for your help in advance, Chris |

You are not searching, cause - it's in there. good luck  Just kidding. For doing NMEA to Garmin (software) I am using gpsgate,from Franson. Link below: Garmin GPS 18 USB to NMEA - Franson GpsGate I use that to go from pharos and motorola GPS into nRoute, but it's configurable enough to handle garmin to nmea or nmea to garmin. Works nicely and should solve your problem  Welcome to the site btw
