Nuvi 260 won't say street names!

My new Nuvi 260 works great in all ways, except it won't say the street names. It just says "turn left" or "turn right". I have looked through the menus, but can't find a way to "turn on" this feature. Any ideas?

Make sure the voice that you have selected has a TTS at the end of it, should be Jill I believe for your area.

Thanks Max. I had set the unit to British English which has no TTS, so that must be why I had no Street Names.

Andrew, try running Garmin's webupdater and see if there are any new voices available. They may have a British one with TTS. I haven't checked my 660 in a while but I know they release new voices once in a while.

Yeah, highly recommend the webupdater nontheless

It's a good thing to run on a newer unit, because there likely are voice updates for it as well.
