Nuvi 760 in "Piano Black"

Does anyone know or having experience with the 760 in piano black color? Is it more prone to scratches? I know that finger prints and dust show up more visibly. No complaints with mine, just wondering what others think.

I don't have a 760, but my car has a lot of piano black trim pieces inside. They fingerprint really easy and show dust faster than any other part of the interior.

Re: Nuvi 760 in "Piano Black"

Well, I just got a Nuvi 200w in Piano Black, and the thing is a fingerprint magnet. Not AS BAD as I would assume your typical piece of glossy black electronics to be, but you can definitely see if it's been handled.

Considering it doesen't have a 'touchless' mount like some of the old school nuvis, that's sort of a not so good idea

I guess the best way to explain it is, the prints don't 'cloud' like they would regularly, but if your catching light off it at an angle, you can see the smudge. Sort of odd, they had to do something unique to it...but in the end, yeah it's still glossy black electronica

But you know what...I really think it's going to grow on me. For some reason the screen just looks good with the black surround against the background colors. Makes the Nuvi look even more brilliant than before, so I cannot complain

Oh , and in the GF's truck it's gotta black/gray interior...and with the screen off and it attached to the center console - you almost can't see it if you are not looking for it.
