60csx Specs

One of the main reasons I bought this unit was becuse of the area calculation feature. I use my friend's Legend to calculate how much sod & mulch I need on jobs & has always been plus/minus 10%. On the Garmin site it states it has this feature.... https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?...ab=gpsmap60csx . However I cant find it & the manual saids nothing about it? Please tell me Im ignorant & where to find it so I dont get po at Garmin & cause a big stink, jj kinda. Thanks!

The manual mentions area calculations for inside a track. If you navigate around the perimeter of the job to have it create a track, it can then calculate the area inside the loop or track you just made.

Thanks for the response. Ill check that out. The legend series has a button on the menu that you push then walk around perimiter
