Mapsource TOPO

I recently bought a new Rino 530 HCx and I'm still on a learning curve. I have always used Delorme Topo so Mapsource is a whole new beast to me. The one big problem I'm having is trying to set up a route on the computer. All I get are straight lines from point to point. The Help folder says to goto the routing tab in the Edit, Preferences. There is no routing tab. Can anyone help

Re: Mapsource TOPO

I used Delorme's Street Atlas since version 2. Mapsource was quite a learning curve for me.

The straight routing lines you are seeing are due to the map data not have routable roads.

Go to the View menu, then hit Switch to Product.

What things are listed in there? I have multiple mapsource products and some of them only routes as the crow flies.
