| how to get map off gps
I have a nuvi 260 it is an Australian model with 2008 maps on it. I have the 2008 North America city navigator nt and I was playing around and somehow transfered Northern New England to the gps. Is there a way to delete the Northern New england maps. thanks for any help |

I believe (but 100% sure but) if you open Mapsource and read from your unit - you'll see those maps show up. You should then delete them from the mapsource save that you have, and send everything back to the unit. I think most stuff will just sync, but if I can remember correctly - those maps will be removed from it. I could be wrong - but if you have the software it's worth a try  |

GMPASUPP.IMG this was the file it installed and I have deleted it and all is back to normal thanks |
