| Garmin Vista Cx is dead!
Hi. New to the forum and new to using GPS. My husband and I bought two Garmin Vista Cx units for the purpose of Geocaching. One came with map software and the other didn't. The one that didn't come with software is now dead - won't even turn on. My husband took the card out of his unit and put it in my unit so download the map into it and it went dead. Won't come on or anything. We called Garmin and the guy in customer service had my husband try to reset it, but it didn't do anything. The guy then said for us to mail the unit into Garmin. Did we do something wrong and is there a fix for it, other than sending it back to them? Thanks for the help... |

If reseting didn't work and it isn't lacking power, sending it back might be the only option. I don't know what would have caused it to die like that though.  to the site btw!
