Re: Garmin's Mac Support

It's still a limited beta, with some features disabled and some that are just bugs still. But it's a good sign and a nice update to see something working natively on the Mac.

Re: Garmin's Mac Support

I have found it is just as easy to just go find a free PC someplace to use just for the GPS than to wait for support on OSX.
I run a iMac G5 for my main computer to do eveything....but work with the GPS....
I have a small PC running 2000 pro just for the GPS mapping software.
Works just fine this way, and being it is not connected to the internet i don't have to worry about viruses, etc.
The PC didn't cost me anything. Mapping software....well a friend had that, and installed it for me. GPS...ya had to buy it online using the Mac, and found that very cheep with a PC connection cable, and a case.
The H&^%$ with garmin if they don't want to support us Mac users.
They are so many PC's out there you can pick up free....why worry about Mac support.....
